1. Nature of Service

Information on Documatica's website is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. Documatica is not your attorney, and no solicitor-client relationship exists between you and Documatica.


2. Copyright and Ownership of Site Contents

Copyright in all Site Contents, including our webpage's design, layout, previewing technology, and contents, is owned by Documatica. Documatica also retains copyright to automated technologies and systems used to manage, generate, and process our Site Contents. Documatica's customers shall be entitled to retain relevant subsets of the Site Contents for their own personal or business use (provided that the source of the material is acknowledged), but may not republish, reproduce, upload, or download the Site Contents onto or from any publicly accessible network or computer system without Documatica's prior written permission. 5. Privacy and Security Policies

Documatica is committed to maintaining a high standard of customer security. Your payment information is transmitted via an encrypted connection supplied by Documatica in partnership with Paypal's external billing system. However, we are not able to encrypt e-mail communications between users and our company, so we advise that you do not include sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) in your e-mails to Documatica. Documatica cannot be held liable for any damages that result as a consequence of such information being sent to us via e-mail.

Documatica respects your privacy, and all of your personal information is kept strictly confidential as outlined in this document. Any information we gather is solely for the purpose of generating relevant documents, and internal uses such as validating your transactions. We have NO ACCESS to your credit card or financial information due to the nature of our external billing system.

We do not share your personal information with other companies, nor do we abuse it by sending you unwanted e-mail messages or subscribing you to mailing lists.

Documatica respects the law, and will comply with any and all lawful requests for personal information, including but not limited to: search warrants, subpoenas, court orders and/or fraud investigations.

If you initiate a Payment Reversal, Payment Dispute, Chargeback, or similar action at any time, our privacy policy will no longer apply, and you will forfeit any right to privacy and ownership of any and all information provided to us or our systems, such that this information will become freely releasable in the public domain.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Refund Policy

At Documatica, we make customer satisfaction a top priority. If your document does not meet your expectations, e-mail us with your document tracking number within 72 hours of creating your document, and the reason for your complaint. We will correct the issue to your satisfaction, or we will give you a Document Voucher for one (1) free document. Documatica's Satisfaction Guarantee shall only apply to documents generated from inputs where every question was answered.

We try to ensure that customers are aware of what their document will look like BEFORE purchasing it, and we have employed a complex system to do so, to attempt to maximize customer satisfaction and reduce cause for refunds. Due to the nature of our products, we have had to make it our policy to reserve issuing refunds for special circumstances. Refund requests must be e-mailed to the address supplied on our 'Contact Us' page, and must include: (1) your document tracking number, (2) your Paypal transaction number, (3) an explanation of the reason for the refund request, (4) your home or business address, and (5) your daytime telephone number. In the event of a refund, we reserve the right to do so via Paypal or mailed cheque.


7. Limited Warranties

Except as specified herein, to the maximum extent permitted by the relevant legislation, our Site Contents are provided by Documatica WITHOUT any warranties.


8. Maximum Liability

Except as specified herein, Documatica's maximum liability is the amount paid to Documatica by the customer.


9. Indemnification

By accessing our website, you agree to indemnify and hold Documatica, its directors, officers, employees and shareholders, harmless from any claim, demand, or damages, including legal fees, asserted by any third party due to your use of our Site Contents.


10. Amendment of Terms

Documatica reserves the right to alter these terms at any time without notice by altering their description on this web page.


11. Severability

If any part of Documatica's terms of use or disclaimer are found to be unenforceable, such finding will have no bearing on the remainder of the terms of use and disclaimer, which will be enforced to as great an extent as possible.


12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. In the event of legal action, you accept that such action will take place exclusively within and under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
